I am such a clutze!!! Fractured ankle!!!

Guess what I did Friday...fell down the stairs and fractured my ankle. I am one of those very clutze people and I finally really hurt myself this time. This was not a good time for this to happen either. I have an exhibit coming up in April and several pieces of artwork to get ready for a consignment deal that I'm working on. Oh, woe is me :-(

I am not one to sit still for any long amount of time either. I have ants in my pants. Guess that I'll be doing a lot of sit down painting now. But don't feel sorry for me...I shall overcome! I'll be able to work up my biceps and upper body strength using these dang crutches. lol

Exhibit Opening - Focus 2007 @ Fairmount Center

See my digital art and the wonderful photography of many talented people at the opening of the Focus 2007 Photography Exhibit at the Fairmount Center for the Creative and Performing Arts in Novelty Ohio. The exhibit opens today, Saturday March 10th from 6-8 pm. Works that are exhibited are the judges choice out of the juried Focus 2007 Exhibit that was held March 2nd.
This exhibit and the other two exhibits at the Valley Art Center and the Solon Center for the Arts run through April 27th.

My piece that will be exhibited at the Fairmount is titled "Digital Rose."

My Digital Work Exhibited in Focus 2007

When I entered 4 of my digital photos in Focus 2007, a juried photography exhibit, which benefits the arts of several northeastern Ohio towns around the Solon, Ohio area, I felt it would just be a good experience and figured that there were so many talented photographers out there that I would probably not be selected to go to the next level of the competition.

To my surprise, 3 out of my 4 entries were chosen to be exhibited in the next three exhibits. What an honor to be among the chosen photographers, who will represent their work to the communities starting this coming weekend, March 9th, 10th, and 11th. The exhibits will continue through April 27th. The participating exhibits will be held at Valley Art Center in Chagrin Falls; the Fairmount Center in Novelty; and the Solon Center for the Arts in Solon.
