Wonderful Exhibit...I Sold 4 Digital Paintings!

The Geneva Grape Jamboree Art Exhibit was a success, especially for me. I sold all four of my digital paintings in the Orchid series. What a blessing!

Grape Vines in the Archway

Well, it's finished. I did this painting for a local exhibit in Geneva, Ohio called the Grape Jamboree. It will be held Saturday and Sunday, September 23 & 24. I will have this painting entered along with a seascape painting "Coming into the Harbor" and 4 digital paintings from my Orchid Series including "Sepia Fantasy." New Digital Painting - Sepia Fantasy

New Digital Painting

I am currently working on a series of digital paintings for a local exhibit. I've entitled this series "Orchids." I have taken several photos of my moms beautiful orchid collection. She has a real knack at growing them.
I took the photos and altered them digitally using several methods. This one here, "Sepia Fantasy" was given a sepia technique and them I added several pastel colors and effects to it.

"Altered Garden" in Worldwide Women Artists Exhibit


This painting is one of my recent works. It is a mixed media using my digitally altered photography and cut up pieces of my older photography, acrylic paints and gel and gloss mediums. It is somewhat textural in nature. I really enjoyed doing this one. It is called "Altered Garden."
